Most families of our children live in one room, with parents and numerous siblings all sleeping in the same space. Often this room also doubles as the kitchen. So you can see the children in these areas would benefit greatly from sponsorship to break the cycle of poverty. The only real solution is continuous professional support, focusing on education and ensuring their health and wellbeing are also taken care of. We are ideally placed and have the knowledge and experience to support these local children. Why not help us in helping them? Life without hope is bleak. By proving them with hope, we can all dream of a better future, for them and for us. 

Sponsorship covers:

• Admission & exam fees as well as monthly school fees

• Uniforms

• Books & teaching supplies

• After school programme, local teachers' wages & teaching equipment 

• Tuition in the Khushi Vocational Centre

• One meal a day during the after school programme for primary school children

• Special medical funding

• Supplementary clothes  

 

 

 

 

 

As long as the child continues to show a will to participate in their education, we will continue to support them in whatever way we can. In this way, the child is more likely to stay on the educational path and be well informed of their possibilities.  Their families are more likely to support them through this process, leading to the blossoming of a child into a healthy, well educated young adults ready to make their mark on the world. 

To be eligible for a scholarship with Khushi beyond primary school, the student must participate in at least one of the many extracurricular activities offered at our Skills Centre. The children will then continue to have access to the computer room, language classes and our library. 

Khushi only continues to provide for our children through the sponsorship of individual children and running costs. Maybe you would like to make your own life more meaningful along with that of a child by sponsoring a child’s future?

We have children with a variety of different needs. If you wish to sponsor a child with medical issues or have a particular interest in women's empowerment, we can arrange for a child or young adult to suit your field of preference to begin to change their lives for the better.

 

This sponsorship will see a child through school and college, with all their needs, such as school equipment and medical fees.

We currently rely on a very small number of sponsors so we would be eternally grateful for your help, as would the child too! We can keep you up to date with the progress of your sponsored child and you can see them grow into well educated healthy young adults with a bright future. 

By sponsoring you help with continuous financial support to help the children from school into college and even university for some students. This would be out of their grasp without our help.  Our programme puts a focus on both the child and the parents to place more emphasis on qualified education and personal development.
